The sculpture alludes to the energy and movement in the nearby sport fields. The two arcs describe enormous energy meeting at a point of compressed power. The shapes also echo the oval grounds nearby while framing the landscape. At night and at irregular intervals a blue/white spark leaps from one side of the arc to the other.
The plasma-cut drawings in the central gallery are replicas of sports themed drawings provided by pre-school children from the City of Casey
